Finding a proof is not owning a BURGER. A proof only becomes a BURGER when the contract accepts it and the payment settles. If someone else's proof lands first, yours is void. A submitted transaction that reverts can still cost network gas.
A price rise never silently authorizes a larger payment: every submission carries the maximum you agreed to.

Two transactions: a bounded approval for exactly the cost, then the recruit. Never an unlimited approval. If the mint fails the burn fails with it, so BUNS cannot disappear without a BURGER arriving.
Rent follows the NFT until claimed. A licensed BURGER can be activated as a transferable worker or permanently locked as a factory. Permanent locking is explicit and irreversible. The roster keeps the profile identity that each wallet originally received.
